Practice dictionary of model railroad technology 2010

The model railroad and model railway dictionary contains technical terms important to you as model railwaymans from the areas train, model railroad/model train, model construction, layout design, electrical equipment, electronics, digital and analog technique, layout control, network, information and PC technology.

The model railwayman colloquial speech is very specific: a "crocodile" is no animal and a "Fauli" for example is not a lazybone (the English word for "faul" is "lazy"). There are innumerable abbreviations which we collect and explain here for you in the model railroad dictionary.
